Consumers will get two-year deadline to register PPI complaints, UK FCA says

( October 2, 2015, 08:23 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Consumers will be given a two-year deadline to register their complaints regarding payment protection insurance, or PPI, under a proposal expected later this year from the UK’s Financial Conduct Authority. The FCA made the statement, ahead of a consultation on its proposal before spring 2016. The consultation will also set out the FCA’s plans for a communications campaign to expedite any potential PPI complaints within the suggested two-year period.The following text is from the statement....
