SEC enforcement chief Ceresney to step down this month

( December 8, 2016, 19:46 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Andrew Ceresney, head of the US Securities and Exchange Commission's enforcement division, will leave the agency later this month, the SEC said. He will be replaced on a temporary basis by Stephanie Avakian, deputy director of the enforcement unit.
