UK audit inspections reveal BDO, Mazars as having ‘unacceptable’ shortcomings

In its annual inspection results published today, the Financial Reporting Council said it was disappointed to see that many, if not all, of the failures identified in last year’s inspection results had resurfaced. It did welcome continued improvement across the sector, however.
