EU leaders to call for 'further strengthening' of bloc's competitiveness

( June 10, 2025, 11:07 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: EU heads of state and governments will return to the issue of competitiveness at the European Council meeting of June 26 and 27, according to an outline for the final statement. The leaders are expected to "call for further strengthening EU competitiveness, including through innovation, and deepening the Single Market," according to the note, to be discussed by member states' representatives today.
