Consolidated tape tweaks included in EU govts’ early trade, post-trade compromise

( September 7, 2026, 15:15 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Compromise proposals on a reform to better integrate and supervise the EU’s capital markets, obtained by MLex, are due to be discussed by member state governments’ finance experts in Brussels on Sept. 10. The documents, prepared by Ireland, which is chairing EU legislative talks during the second half of the year, address multiple issues, including rules for the live market-data stream from trading venues, known as the equity consolidated tape. The compromise adjusts rules for venues and strengthens requirements for banks that execute trades internally, known as Systematic Internalizers.See attached documents....
