Berenberg points to accounting irregularities following management departures

( July 21, 2026, 15:39 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: German private bank Berenberg pointed to accounting irregularities on Tuesday as it released its delayed 2025 results. The earnings statement follows the intervention of the financial regulator which suspended three managing partners in June. "During the preparation of the 2025 annual financial statements, it was discovered that the accounting and valuation of equity transactions in the bank's proprietary holdings had, in some cases, not complied with commercial law regulations," the bank said. Statement follows....
