US customs says tariff refunds for next phase to launch Oct. 6
( September 16, 2026, 14:44 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: US Customs and Border Protection said in a filing to the Court of International Trade that it will launch phase three of its refund system for illegally paid emergency tariffs on Oct. 6, which will cover finally liquidated entries for which there is a court order. CBP also said it has processed more than $134 billion in refunds and has sent around $122 billion out to the Treasury Department for payment.See attached....
