The Indonesian Ministry of Trade said on Monday that the countries exchanged national reports in Canberra on Aug. 27, beginning a review of the Indonesia-Australia Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement after its first five years. The reports will be used to identify areas where the agreement could be strengthened or modernized. Indonesia also raised its trade deficit with Australia during discussions.
