US customs says tariff refund Phase 3 delayed

( August 27, 2026, 15:10 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: US Customs and Border Protection said in an updated filing at the Court of International Trade that Phase 3 of the refunds for tariffs paid under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act are delayed temporarily. CBP said it was seeking to "build new validations that ensure no other duty adjustments are made to finally liquidated entries outside of the IEEPA duty refunds." Additionally, CBP said that more than $132 billion has been accepted for processing and of that amount, more than $106 billion has been paid out.See attached....
