EU Commission welcomes new US tariff rate in line with Turnberry agreement

The commission said the move provides momentum for further negotiations on additional tariff relief and broader cooperation, while continuing talks on unresolved trade issues including steel, aluminum and trucks.The European Commission said it “notes positively” the new US tariff rate of 10 percent on EU imports, which was announced by the US administration on Thursday after the temporary 10 percent global tariffs expired on Friday....
