US Commerce says China, Vietnam, Indonesia dumping, subsidizing plywood
( July 21, 2026, 18:41 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The US Department of Commerce said in a final determination that Indonesia, China and Vietnam are dumping and subsidizing imports of hardwood and decorative plywood. Commerce issued a negative determination of critical circumstances for dumped subject imports from Vietnam but a partial affirmative critical circumstances on subsidized imports after finding one producer was subject to critical circumstances. Commerce gave a positive critical circumstances determination on both dumped and subsidized findings for China and did not investigate Indonesia on the issue, which concerns a surge of imports following the government investigation. Commerce announced final dumping and subsidy rates ranging from 4 percent to 187 percent on producers from all three countries.See attached documents....
