US Commerce right in Japan hot-rolled steel remand, US CIT says

( April 9, 2026, 17:19 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex summary: US Court of International Trade Judge Jennifer Choe-Groves sustained the Commerce Department's second remand of a 2021 review of an antidumping order on Japanese hot-rolled steel flat products, rejecting a challenge from Nippon Steel Corporation. Choe-Groves ruled that Japanese antitrust laws did not prevent Nippon Steel from soliciting information needed in the investigation from an uncooperative affiliate and that it had other options to avoid an adverse inference determination from Commerce.See attached file....
