China's SAMR urges US executives to back stable trade ties

( March 24, 2026, 05:33 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Shu Wei, vice chief of China's market regulator, called on US businesses to contribute to stable US-China trade relations, the State Administration for Market Regulation said in its official release on Tuesday. Shu made the remarks during his meeting with Cohen Group CEO Robert Tyrer and Amway CEO Michael Nelson in Beijing on Monday. As well as discussing China's nationwide unified market and fair competition, Shu said China will create a favorable business environment for foreign companies including US firms.
