China imposes five-year antisubsidy duties on EU dairy products, Mofcom says

( February 12, 2026, 08:17 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: China’s Ministry of Commerce announced Thursday the final ruling of its antisubsidy probe into certain dairy products from the EU, finding that subsidized imports caused material injury to China’s domestic dairy industry. The State Council Tariff Commission will impose antisubsidy duties ranging from 7.4 percent to 11.7 percent from Friday for five years. The measures cover certain cheeses and high-fat milk and cream classified under specified tariff codes. Provisional deposits collected since Dec. 23, 2025, will be converted into final duties, the ministry added. The ministry launched the investigation in August 2024 and confirmed preliminary findings issued in December 2025.Announcement follows and the list of antisubsidy duty rates is attached (in Chinese)....
