US Commerce says float glass from China, Malaysia, dumped, subsidized

( February 6, 2026, 14:57 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The US Commerce Department said in a final decision that imports of float glass product from Malaysia and China are dumped and subsidized by the countries. Additionally, Commerce said one Malaysian company, NSG, had surged imports following the investigation. The Malaysian dumping rate is 8.78 percent, with two separate company rates, and the subsidy rate is 27.32 percent, with three other separate company rates. Chinese producers were assigned a 19.75 percent subsidy rate, with three companies getting a 113.34 percent separate rate. The dumping rate for China is 181.54 percent, with 151.29 percent for more than a dozen companies.See attached files....
