EU foreign-subsidy rules need full 'reworking,' says Germany

Seeking changes to the Foreign Subsidies Regulation, Berlin said the law should focus on specific strategic sectors exposed to subsidy policies, and move away from an obligation to notify investments to a mechanism where officials "call in" suspicious deals.
