China blacklists Canada's TechInsights after Huawei chip teardown reports

The Ottawa-based consultancy's addition to the list follows the publication of its teardown report on Huawei’s latest artificial-intelligence chip, the Ascend 910C. The move came alongside a new tightening of export controls on rare earths — another effort aimed at reinforcing China’s control over critical inputs for semiconductor manufacturing.
