US appeals court upholds first Trump administration's China tariffs

( September 25, 2025, 17:02 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The first Trump administration’s imposition of tariffs against China was lawful, the US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit ruled. "Because Section 307(a)(1)(C) authorizes USTR to take escalatory, modified trade actions, and because USTR’s remand redetermination meets the APA’s procedural requirements in 5 U.S.C. § 553, we affirm the trial court and sustain the challenged Lists 3 and 4A tariffs," US Circuit Judge Todd Hughes wrote on behalf of a three-judge panel.See attached ruling....
