China extends antidumping probe on halogenated butyl rubber from Canada, Japan, India to 2026

( September 5, 2025, 08:58 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: China's Commerce Ministry announced today it is extending its antidumping probe into halogenated butyl rubber from Canada, Japan and India until March 14, 2026. The investigation, launched in September 2024, issued a preliminary ruling on Aug. 12 that imports from Canada and Japan were dumped in China and had caused material injury to domestic producers, while the products from India were minimal and the probe for that origin was terminated by the ministry. Starting Aug. 14, importers of the product from Canada and Japan were required to pay deposits of 13.8 percent to 40 percent.
