Trump signs US export controls bill into law

( August 19, 2025, 18:44 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex summary: US President Donald Trump signed into law a bill requiring the Department of Commerce's Bureau of Industry and Security to report annually to Congress on export control licensing for dual-use goods. BIS will have to report on license applications, enforcement actions and authorization actions related to exports, releases and in-country transfers of any products subject to the Export Administration Regulations that are provided to covered entities, or countries subject to arms embargoes.White House statement follows.
