Trump signs order for 'reciprocal' tariff rates set for Aug. 7

Any country engaged in transshipment will pay a 40 percent rate. The executive order lists tariff rates for dozens of countries ranging from 10 percent to 40 percent, with most countries at 15 percent. Any country not on the list and without a separate agreement will be tariffed at 10 percent.
