US hardwood plywood importers allege Commerce erred in circumvention review

( July 18, 2025, 16:46 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex summary: Three US importers of hardwood plywood and one Vietnamese exporter of the product alleged in separate complaints filed at the Court of International Trade that the US Department of Commerce erred in an anticircumvention review for subject imports from China. The companies claimed that Commerce failed to follow the rules of its certification regime and adverse facts available designations that determined respondents were uncooperative, both of which affected subject imports from Vietnamese companies, including Greatwood Hung Yen Joint Stock Company.See attached complaints....
