Malaysia to continue US talks to address trade issues, tariff impact

The Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry said in a statement that Malaysia is committed to continuing its engagement with the US towards a balanced, mutually beneficial and comprehensive trade agreement, and will pursue avenues for the timely conclusion of negotiations. Malaysia acknowledges the concerns raised by the US regarding trade imbalances and believes that constructive engagement remains the best path forward, the ministry said.
