Trump says US has reached trade deal with Vietnam

Trump said on Truth Social that he spoke with Vietnamese General Secretary Tô Lâm, who agreed to pay a 20 percent tariff on all exports to the US and 40 percent on any goods that are illegally trans-shipped. Trump said Vietnam will in return open up its market and allow US goods to enter at a zero percent rate. Vietnam had faced a 46 percent "reciprocal" tariff rate on July 9.Statement follows: ...
