US steelmaker challenges Commerce over South Korean corrosion-resistant steel

( June 12, 2025, 21:47 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex summary: US steelmaker Nucor Corporation filed a lawsuit at the Court of International Trade to challenge the Commerce Department's 2022 review of corrosion-resistant steel from South Korea. The May 9 Commerce review found South Korea subsidized corrosion-resistant steel imports, but also partially rescinded the review for SeAH Steel Corporation because it did not have relevant exports or sales of the product during the period of review. Commerce also gave weighted averages for five South Korean companies instead of selecting them as respondents. Court summons attached....
