USITC to investigate Fiagon after Stryker medical device infringement claims

( May 20, 2025, 17:13 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The US International Trade Commission instituted an investigation today into potential violations of Section 337 of the Tariff Act by Germany's Fiagon AG Medical Technologies, following infringement allegations brought by US-based Stryker Corp. Stryker filed a petition last month accusing Fiagon of importing balloon dilation devices, used to treat sinuses, which infringe Stryker patents. Stryker seeks an exclusion order as well as a cease-and-desist to halt importation, sales and advertising.See attached notice....
