EU Commission partially wins appeal of Russian ammonium nitrate duty annulment (correct*)

( April 30, 2025, 09:23 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The European Commission, supported by the trade lobby Fertilizers Europe, has partially won its legal challenge to a ruling that annulled the EU's extended dumping duties on imports of Russian ammonium nitrate. In a judgment delivered today, the bloc's top judges set aside the earlier judgment stating that the commission was incorrect to consider additional evidence submitted after the deadline during the expiry review proceedings. In consequence, the case was sent back to the General Court for further examination of whether the consolidated review request contained sufficient evidence to justify the review. * Corrected on April 30, 2025 at 12:55 GMT: Clarifies that the win was partial.The judgment is attached.
