USTR sets May 19 hearing for Chinese crane tariff proposal

( April 18, 2025, 15:14 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The US Trade Representative Office announced a May 19 hearing for its proposal to charge tariffs on Chinese ship-to-shore cranes and other cargo equipment. USTR said in a Federal Register notice that it proposes up to 100 percent tariffs on Chinese cranes. USTR also proposes up to 100 percent tariffs on Chinese containers, chassis and chassis parts.Federal Register notice attached....
