US CIT sustains Commerce surrogate data in 2022 order on Chinese pool chemicals

( April 14, 2025, 16:02 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex summary: The US Court of International Trade ruled the US Department of Commerce correctly selected Romania as a surrogate country in a 2022 antidumping review of chlorinated isocyanurates from China. Judge Timothy Reif rejected several challenges from US-based pool chemical producers, also siding with Commerce to not consider Mexico as a surrogate country. However, Reif ruled against Commerce on three other issues, including that it erred in Romanian labor data use.Court document is attached....
