UK not considering joining EU’s Pan-European customs regime, minister says

The idea was floated yesterday by EU trade chief Maroš Šefčovič, who said the European Commission “could consider” the admission of the UK into the convention if the British government were interested. Members of the program, dubbed PEM, benefit from harmonizing rules of origin and simplifying the free flow of goods.
