EU to keep duties on Chinese tires for trucks and buses for five more years

( January 16, 2025, 08:54 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Chinese producers of tires for trucks and buses will continue to face punitive duties on their imports into the EU, the European Commission said today in a notice. Since May 2018, dumping and anti-subsidy duties of up to 61.76 euros (around $65) per tire have been imposed on EU imports from Chinese makers. The measures were revised and reimposed in April 2023, following their partial annulment by the EU’s General Court.
