EU gas storages 95 percent full ahead of winter, Commission says

Current levels are above the 90 percent filling mandate the bloc must meet on Nov. 1 to reduce the risk of supply shortages during winter or the impact of further disruptions in Russian gas deliveries. The EU energy chief Kadri Simson has said that the bloc has a “healthy level” of gas in storage, and that the bloc is in a “strong position to keep supplies and prices stable this winter.”...
