Chinese exports of electric vehicles to face EU countervailing duties from midnight

( October 29, 2024, 19:36 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The EU regulation on countervailing duties of up to 35.3 percent on imports of Chinese-made electric vehicles into the bloc was published in the EU's official bulletin today. The measures, effective from midnight, will apply for a period of five years. The provisional duties imposed on July 4, 2024, will not be collected, the European Commission said.
