TikTok faces hearings over €1.1b Portuguese collective actions

A disclosure said that the two claims, filed by non-profit group Ius Omnibus in 2023, with one involving under-13s and the other 13-year-olds and over, remain at are at an "early submissions stage."TikTok says it faces preliminary hearings in September and in December in two Portuguese collective actions alleging that it let children sign up for an account without parental consent and failed to implement measures to protect them....
