Live Nation fails to get quick appeal, stay of trial in US DOJ monopoly suit

( February 27, 2026, 23:31 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Live Nation Entertainment and Ticketmaster were denied a motion to stay and to certify an interlocutory appeal in a monopolization lawsuit brought by the US Department of Justice alongside several US states and the District of Columbia. District Judge Arun Subramanian said if only one of the issues Live Nation seeks to address is answered in its favor, then even under the most optimistic view for Live Nation, the case will have to advance anyway, likely with much of the same evidence presented and after a lengthy delay.
