Trump administration hails exclusion of US companies from global tax deal

The Inclusive Framework on Base Erosion and Profit Shifting was agreed to by 147 countries through the OECD. Under the deal, US-based companies will only be subject to US minimum tax rates and are exempt from pillar two of the agreement that imposes global minimum tax rates.
