Virgin Media fined £23.8M for disconnecting vulnerable customers

The regulator Ofcom issued the fine under the Communications Act 2003 after finding the company failed to comply with its own policies on the fair treatment of vulnerable customers, which the regulator considered serious breaches of its own rules.
