Injunction against Google would devalue Play Store, app developers say

( November 26, 2025, 20:42 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The App Association told the US Supreme Court that an injunction entered against Google in an antitrust case brought by Epic Games overreaches and doesn't merely address anticompetitive conduct but instead changes much of what makes the Google Play Store valuable. “Suddenly, apps will now automatically be available in knock-off stores unless the app developers affirmatively opt out of that sharing.
