Roblox sued by second US state over child safety allegations

By Mike Swift ( October 8, 2025, 00:58 GMT | Insight) -- Roblox has been hit by a suit from Kentucky's attorney general alleging that the gaming platform popular with teens and children has failed to add necessary safety protections for young users, and that Roblox has become a “hunting ground for child predators," even as the company has failed "to implement basic safety controls to protect child users." Louisiana sued Roblox over similar claims in August. One of the claims in Kentucky's suit is that “assassination simulators” appeared on Roblox soon after the shooting of conservative activist Charlie Kirk in Utah, allowing young children to view digital recreations of his violent death.Roblox is facing new claims that the besieged gaming platform popular with minors has illegally failed to protect the safety of young users, with Kentucky’s attorney general suing Roblox Tuesday over claims that it's “a playground” for sexual predators....
