EU plans for securing tech supply chains to be discussed on Sept 25

The long-awaited initiative follows tensions between the Commission and some European governments over the use of Chinese technology in critical infrastructure, and is set to be linked with the revision of EU Cybersecurity Act. The EU's ICT Supply Chain Toolbox, a long-awaited initiative to mitigate security risks posed by communications infrastructure from foreign suppliers, will be presented and discussed for the first time at a meeting of EU officials on Sept. 25, MLex has learned on Wednesday....
