Slaughter tells US Supreme Court it shouldn't block her reinstatement to FTC

( September 5, 2025, 18:54 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The US Supreme Court should leave Federal Trade Commission member Rebecca Kelly Slaughter in place while litigation over the Democratic commissioner's firing by President Trump proceeds, Slaughter told the Justices in a court filing. The Trump Administration has identified "no harm that will result from Commissioner Slaughter’s continued service while their stay application is pending," Slaughter said, noting that as the sole Democrat on the FTC with a three-member Republican majority, she is not in a position to unilaterally block any FTC action.See attached document....
