UK tech minister Kyle moved to business ministry; Liz Kendall to take over

Prime Minister Keir Starmer reshuffled his cabinet following the resignation today of deputy prime minister and housing minister Angela Rayner. Kendall was the minister for work and pensions until today. In his role, Kyle has led the 17-month-old Labour government's approach to technology, including AI, and notably its strategy to boost the UK's scientific prowess by 2030, which identifies AI as one of five critical technologies.Statement follows....
