UK platforms receive draft guidance on online safety fees notification duties

( September 1, 2025, 10:36 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Online platforms under the scope of the UK Online Safety Act will be required to submit detailed notifications on their services and their global revenue return process, under draft guidance published today by regulator Ofcom. The proposals set out how services should prepare and evidence their Qualifying Worldwide Revenue returns, but guidance on fee calculations will be addressed separately.
