Mediaset unit’s Italian dispute over frequency use for 5G lands at EU’s top court

Elettronica Industriale sought to repurpose its frequency band for digital TV for high-speed 5G mobile communications. Italian media regulator AGCOM rejected the request, arguing that the band is reserved for broadcasting.
