Google workers seek to weigh in on US DOJ's break-up bid

( April 24, 2025, 23:41 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Google has a history of suppressing worker speech related to US Department of Justice-led  monopolization litigation seeking to break up the company, and a court-ordered divestiture of Chrome or Android risks the elimination of good jobs, reduced benefits and diminished worker bargaining power, according to a motion from the the Alphabet Workers Union-CWA seeking leave to file an amicus brief in the case. The union also highlighted "the value of a labor union in the ongoing monitoring of Google’s conduct so as to effectuate the relief in the Final Judgment and restore a culture of compliance at Google."See attached file....
