UK regulator bans new leasing of network addresses used in telecom signaling

Global Titles are special types of phone numbers used to send and receive signals that help connect users to networks and to one another. The misuse of these numbers can lead to intercepted messages or calls, bringing privacy and security risks to users, the UK’s National Cyber Security Centre said.Statement follows.
