German semiconductor plants win EU state aid approval

Carl Zeiss will receive €222 million for a semiconductor production equipment facility in Oberkochen, southern Germany. Zadient Materials Europe will receive €66 million to support its construction of a semiconductor source materials facility in Bitterfeld, in the east of the country.
