Austria's €100m boost for cleantech production capacity wins EU clearance

( December 12, 2025, 11:52 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Companies in Austria investing in additional manufacturing capacity for net-zero technologies as well as their components will be eligible for direct grants under a €100 million plan that has won EU state aid approval. Nuclear fission energy and other nuclear technologies are excluded from the measure. Under the program, aid can also be granted for the production of new or recovered related critical raw materials.
