Poland seeks swift EU decision on furloughed grain terminal
By Jean Comte ( October 1, 2026, 14:37 GMT | Insight) -- The Polish government has told MLex that the European Commission should issue a decision swiftly on Bunge and Copenhagen Merchants Group’s intended takeover of the Baltic Grain Terminal, so that the key piece of infrastructure can resume its work. The terminal in the port of Gdynia has been inactive since June 2025, putting pressure on cereal trade in the area.
