( July 9, 2026, 19:16 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Administrative Law Judge Jamie Ormond's proposed decision and the alternate proposed decision of California Public Utilities Commissioner Matthew Baker were submitted as part of the state's review of Charter Communications' proposed acquisition of Cox Communications. The proposed and alternate proposed decisions will not appear on the commission's agenda sooner than 30 days from the date they are mailed. When the commission acts on the agenda items, it may adopt all of the decisions as written, amend or modify them, or set them aside and prepare its own decision.
